Julie Zabalza

Co-Founder

Julie has been an Animal Control Officer for the last five years (currently with Santa Cruz County, previously with the City of San Jose). She fed and cared for animals left behind in the fire evacuation zones during the CZU Fire. The devastation she saw on the job inspired her to reach out to fellow community members and create SLV Holiday Love.

Janet Nachman

Co-Founder

Janet is a long time Ben Lomond resident. She is a newly retired clinician hoping to be of service to the community during these trying times.

Sarah Hart

Co-Founder

Sarah lives locally in Boulder Creek and is so grateful to be a part of our sweet mountain community. She is looking forward to helping share joy with other local families for the holidays.

Lenka Lukacova (aka Magdalene Meadows)

Co-Founder

Lenka is a stay-at-home mom of an energetic 18-month-old. She and her husband came from Prague, Czech Republic to San Jose four years ago, and were literally in the middle of a move to Boulder Creek on the weekend the CZU Fire started. Although she is new to the community, she is thankful to be a part of it and hopes to bring joy and peace during these trying times.

Michelle Lloyd

Co-Founder

Michelle is a mother of 3 and has lived in Scotts Valley and Felton for the past 14 years. She graduated as a Sociology major from UCSC and has a passion for helping community members in need.

Stephanie Ross

Co-Founder

Stephanie has lived in Santa Cruz County for over 17 years. She raised her daughter here and has been an offline and online community builder for 20+ years. She is the founder of The Great Share Collective- Santa Cruz Facebook group.

Kaycee Beames

Co-Founder

Kaycee is a mom of a 6-year-old boy and is currently a Liberal Studies major at CSUMB. She currently lives in SLV and the community means a lot to her. Christmas is her favorite holiday and she looks forward to working with Santa Claus to bring joy to our community this year.
